Map Module

The Map module allows you to add interactive maps directly into your app. With configurable settings like title, latitude, longitude, and zoom, you can highlight specific locations and make your app more informative and engaging.

Accessing the Map Module

  1. Open an app in PAP.

  2. Click the Add Items button in the top navigation bar or use the “+” signs on the canvas.

  3. In the left-side New Items pane, locate the Map module.

  4. Drag it onto your app canvas. Once placed, click it to open the Map Properties Pane..

Map Properties and Settings

The Properties Pane provides full control over how the map looks and functions.

1. Map Settings

  • Title: Adds a label above the map to give context.

  • Latitude: Sets the vertical position of the location.

  • Longitude: Sets the horizontal position of the location.

  • Zoom: Adjusts how close or far the map appears (default: 14, min: 14, max: 9999).

To set :

  • Open the Map Properties Pane

  • Go to the Map Settings section

  • Enter a title, latitude, longitude, and zoom value.

Design Note :

  • Maps default to Auto size; custom values can be entered.

  • Background and borders are optional for visual styling.

  • Latitude and Longitude are required for accurate map placement.

Use Cases

  • Show an office or store location with a descriptive title.

  • You can easily add maps to your app. Customize the spacing, borders, and background to fit your layout.
